Please find the first Conic Section flipped lesson to the right. View the Intro power point first, then before viewing the Parabola power point, please push file then download, so that you can view it correctly. It's only three slides long, but is more effectively used when viewed as a slideshow. The goal is for everyone to walk into class tomorrow and be able to answer the following questions:
1. What is a Conic Section?
2. What is different about a parabola when viewed as a Conic Section?
3. What do a Circle and a Parabola have in common?
I'll add to the flipped lesson with a proof and three examples in class, followed by pod work on the 9.1 assignment.
I look forward to seeing everyone in class tomorrow!
