The End is Near

I wish our snow day would have been on a B day!  Although we have lost a day of instruction, everything will still be alright.  Really.  I have posted the Hyperbola notes to the right, in addition to the Hyperbola power point.  After finishing the 9.1 and 9.2 HW (and checking your answers), please review Hyperbolas. They won't be difficult to learn ,now that we have the concept of Conic Sections down.  In fact, they are very similar to Ellipses.

So, the plan is simple.

1.  Finish 9.1 and 9.2 HW and check answers.
2.  Watch/Study the Hyperbola power point (remember to download, then view as a slideshow) and Review       Notes.
3.  Come to class on Tuesday ready to ask 9.1 and 9.2 questions, and to work on 9.3 HW
4.  Thursday we will review Conics
5.  Monday we will test Conics

As far as the Final, please find the Final Review to the right.  (Since we are testing over Conics the class right before, they will not be a part of the Final).  A good idea might be to do a few problems from the packet starting today, and continue each following day.  We will not have a Final Review day because of the snow day, so Ms Carrier and I will be available right after school for an hour on Tuesday (for 1st block ) and on Thursday (for 4th block) to answer questions.

Also, a graphing calculator and a 3 x 5 note card (both sides) can be used on the Final!

Feel free to come by lab tomorrow for help.

See you in class on Tuesday!
